A Joyful Afternoon on Wheels

Our Church Roller Skating Event
Our Church Roller Skating Event

On March 8, 2026 Sunday afternoon, our church family gathered for a fun-filled roller skating event at the Woodbridge Community Center—and what a wonderful time it was!

Altogether, 22 of us came out for this special afternoon, representing multiple generations of our church family. Children, youth and parents alike shared laughter, skating and meaningful conversation. The rink quickly filled with excitement as the kids took to the floor, some confidently skating laps, others bravely trying roller skating for the very first time.

Smiles, a few wobbles, and plenty of encouragement were everywhere.

The children especially enjoyed the skating—and, of course, the pizza afterward! While the kids burned off energy on the rink, the adults had the chance to slow down a bit, connect, and enjoy good conversations.

It was a beautiful reminder that fellowship happens not only in worship and meetings, but also in shared experiences like this one.

Events like this strengthen the bonds within our congregation. They give us space to be present with one another, to laugh together, and to grow as a caring, supportive church family. Whether on skates or on the sidelines, everyone contributed to the joyful atmosphere of the afternoon.

We are grateful to all who participated and helped make this event possible. We hope these moments encourage us to continue building community, creating memories, and welcoming one another with open hearts.

We look forward to many more opportunities like this—where faith, fellowship, and fun come together.
