What time are your services, and what languages are they in?

We hold two separate services every Sunday: an English service at 9:00 AM and a Hungarian service at 10:30 AM. For special occasions and Communion Sundays, we offer a combined bilingual service at 10:00 AM. Fellowship and coffee hour are held between the two regular services and again after the Hungarian service in the fellowship hall. All are welcome!

What should I wear to church?

Dress comfortably and respectfully. While some choose to wear traditional or semi-formal attire, all are welcome—come as you are.

Is there parking available?

Yes, we offer free parking in the church lot. On Sundays, additional parking is available at the Seventh-day Adventist Church parking lot, located at 25 Division St, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

Is the church building accessible?

Yes. Our sanctuary is wheelchair accessible, however the fellowship hall and bathrooms are not.

Is there fellowship or coffee hour?

Yes, we offer coffee and light refreshments between the English and Hungarian services, and again after the Hungarian service in the fellowship hall. It’s a great time to meet people!

We offer Sunday School during both the English and Hungarian services, where children learn about faith through engaging lessons, stories, and hands-on crafts led by dedicated teachers. The church also organizes family-friendly programs throughout the year, such as bowling outings, museum visits, hayrides, ice skating, and more—offering opportunities for fellowship and fun across all ages.

How can I become a member of the church?

You can become a member by reviewing our church guidelines and completing the membership process. Please visit the Membership Dues page too submit the annual $100 membership fee and finalize your registration with the Magyar Reformed Church.

Yes, our sanctuary and church hall can be reserved for weddings, baptisms, funerals, and community events. Contact our church office at 732-828-3165 or email us office@magyarreformedchurch.com for details.

Yes! Our church gratefully accepts clothing and household items in good, usable condition. Donations can be brought:
On Sundays, before or after worship services
During office hours, but please call ahead at 1-732-828-3165 to arrange a drop-off time

How can I donate food to the church’s food drive?

We are currently collecting nonperishable food items for the Franklin Township Food Bank. Donations can be placed in our Food Drive collection box located in the Fellowship Hall.
 Please bring your items:
Before or after Sunday services, or
Call the church office at 732-828-3165 to arrange a drop-off during the week.
